Bracey’s Accountants was an established business when we were approached in 2013. The firm offers a full range of accountancy services for corporate clients and individuals. They pride themselves on being a little different, not your usual accountants. The company has branches in Hitchin, Stevenage, Hemel Hempstead, Cambridge, Bedford, Edinburgh and Bishop’s Stortford. They contacted Strand in 2013 to help build their social media presence and set them up on various platforms.

Bracey’s now have a presence on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google My Business, all of which are managed by the Strand team. We also built Bracey’s a new website. We listened to everything they told us about wanting to escape the perception of what an accountancy company is like. And we produced a site that is a step away from the usual corporate image. We also helped to put structures, plans and guides in place for their franchise business, for which we also built the site.

In the years we have been working with Bracey’s, we have written press releases; we have supported the internal operations of the business; and we have presented at the yearly Bracey’s Day to keep staff informed on marketing.

We also introduced a marketing email address to allow seamless communications with other stakeholders. And we have even attended regular events, including Xero Con. In short, we have integrated ourselves into the business and strengthened their team.


As Bracey’s engaged Strand across all services, the results have been delivered in numerous areas. The new website has increased visitors, visibility and conversions. The social media management has increased reach, followers and enquiries.

  • The publicity has ensured Bracey’s profit centres (regional offices) are visible to target customers.
  • The creation of a brand and tone of voice document has ensured consistency across all communications as the firm has grown and employed new members of staff.
