Facebook advertising is a low-cost, high-impact advertising solution that’s waiting for you. As we see light at the end of the COVID-19 tunnel, attention is turning to the best ways to capture or recapture your customers.

For businesses targeting a local audience, the pandemic has created a shift in purchasing as consumers look to buy local. This was shown in Facebook clicks as the searches for local businesses increased 23% from February to May, 2020.

If you want to let customers who are on your doorstep, or even further afield, know about your business, Facebook gives you a great opportunity to reach them.

Finding your audience

If you know where your customers are, Facebook provides an important targeting option for your specific geographical area.

You can also target those who match specific demographics as well as those who have interests that are most likely to align with your product or service.

Targeting your audience

If you want to target specific people with advertising on Facebook, you can use the Custom Audience feature and upload a list of email addresses to Facebook. It will then match them to the associated personal account and show your adverts to those people.

A look-a-like audience will allow you to target individuals who are similar to your current customers. This will help you expand on a successful advertising campaign by easily finding new people to target.
