What is graphic design?
How you present your business’ message is crucial. You want your clients to read your marketing literature and understand it, or you want potential customers to see your advert and remember it. It’s also becoming increasingly important for a business to be recognised by its logo, perhaps the most important visual piece of branding you can have. A graphic designer plays a vital role in guaranteeing your words will appear in an engaging way to the intended audience.
Take a moment to think about what makes you look at an advert – the layout, the colours, the imagery – and you’ll understand that words by themselves are not enough to deliver a message in the modern day
And that is the skill of a graphic designer. To help your message stand out and catch the right eyes.

How we work
We’ll start by working with you on your brand guidelines if you don’t already have them; helping you choose your colour palette and design your logo. You tell us what you like and what you don’t like and together we’ll create your own unique brand identity.
With guidelines in place, we can talk about your project, whether it’s a print advert, a marketing brochure or a report. You will brief us on what you want to communicate with your audience and we’ll use our experience to come up with the right solution.
Strand has really helped us with our brand and developing it in lots of different ways that I just didn’t just think about. It’s not just the obvious marketing and PR graphic design and branding, we have also had loads of help with internal documents. It really helps to have the documents we use in a way that looks good – it makes people use them more. The quote document we use was prepared by Strand. So what may not automatically appear at first as a PR or marketing initiative, absolutely is. When people get our quote document, it’s more professional and appealing and ultimately converts clients.
