Strand PR was tasked to elevate the profile of Wickham Hall, a luxury business complex, as a further 20,000 sq ft of commercial space was being renovated at the estate.

Introducing Wickham Hall

Wickham Hall was first recorded as a manor in the Domesday Book of 1086 and the present hall dates to around the 17th century. David Harvey, owner of the estate, began development in the late 1990s and currently has 20 projects in the works, including conference venues, a small hotel, a park-and-ride site and a large solar park.

Wickham Hall provides businesses with a newly refurbished, state-of-the-art complex which provides a prime selection of high-quality office space, retail units, and a wellness centre, all set in impressive surroundings.

The spacious, airy buildings are located less than a mile from the popular market town of Bishop’s Stortford, near Stansted Airport, and has excellent commuter links to Cambridge and London.

With its easy accessibility and free parking, Wickham Hall has the atmosphere of a wellness centre, located within a backdrop of beautiful, scenic countryside.

The complex, surrounded by beautiful and luscious greenery, combines 21st century technology and traditional business together, which encourages an excellent blend of work life balance, together with wellness and calmness.

Businesses already based at the complex include a personal training gym, café and yoga and reformer pilates studios which have helped reaffirm the tranquil ethos of the site.

“We want people to come here and have that feeling of relaxation, to exhale and be in comfort. That’s the whole ethos behind the site, but it’s also about creating employment and creating an environment to provide a work-life balance for good mental health. We firmly believe that being surrounded by like-minded businesses will encourage more creativity and innovation,” David says.

What we did

Working closely with David and Sworders, we began to develop the key messages, strategy and brand identity for Wickham Hall.

As the site is likely to evolve in the years to come, Strand PR also provided a set of brand guidelines to ensure all stakeholders were able to implement the new brand with precision and ease.
As well as placing editorials in key publications across Hertfordshire, Strand PR provided digital consultancy to elevate the online profile of the estate.


Strand PR are, in the person of Laura Pearce, imaginative, inspirational and energetic.

They have helped us do a number of things beyond what I’d imagined: to re-examine our business model and drive it forward in ways we hadn’t considered. Energy and imagination are the two biggest drivers of most businesses and Laura is overflowing with those virtues.
